📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the bulk vessel, including navigation, cargo operations, and compliance with international maritime regulations.
• Manage the ship's crew, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
• Conduct regular safety drills and inspections to maintain the ship's safety standards.
• Monitor and maintain the ship's systems and equipment, including engines, generators, and navigation equipment.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime laws and regulations, including SOLAS, ISM, and ISPS.
• Work closely with the ship's officers and crew to ensure the ship's efficiency and safety.
• Contribute to the overall success of the voyage by maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the crew, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Chief Mate or similar role in the maritime industry.
• Valid Chief Mate license (STCW 95) and other relevant certifications, such as Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF), Advanced Medical Care (AMC), and Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (SRB).
• Proven experience in managing and leading a crew aboard bulk vessels.
• Strong knowledge of international maritime laws and regulations, including SOLAS, ISM, and ISPS.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Previous experience working with Scanmar Maritime Services or similar maritime recruitment agencies is a plus.
